Patrick leads most of our arts programs, bringing decades of experience in music, and in leadership.

He is dedicated, passionate, versatile and incredibly talented. He does this work because he loves it, and is unfailingly supportive of all who attend at any level.

 

Everyone is always welcome and enthusiastically encouraged by Patrick to jump in and enjoy the program of their choice, no matter what experience they have.

Jane shares the facilitator role with Patrick for the Writers & Friends program at the Cook Street Community Activity Centre, on alternating weeks.

Jane was a trained professional dancer in two of Canada's top modern dance companies, a touring member of a children's theatre company, and has backstage-managing experience in several local live events. She went on to get two degrees, practice naturopathic medicine for 22 years, and now works as a freelance blog-writer, while getting her editing certificate from SFU. When she's not with the Writers & Friends group, she is behind the scenes assisting Patrick with Strength Within, and loving it.
